Vehicle plows into crowd in Canada! There are dead and injured

In the Canadian city of Vancouver, a vehicle plowed into a crowd at 8:00 PM local time. Stating that a street festival was being held at the scene, the police made the following statement:

“Shortly after 8:00 PM this evening, multiple people were killed and many others were injured after a driver plowed into a crowd at a street festival held at E. 41st Avenue and Fraser. The driver has been taken into custody. We will provide more information as the investigation progresses.”

Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim said he was shocked and deeply saddened by the “horrific” incident that occurred at the Lapu Lapu Day festival, which is considered one of the largest celebrations in the Philippines.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said, “I offer my deepest condolences to the families of those who died and were injured, to the Filipino-Canadian community, and to everyone in Vancouver. We are all mourning with you.”
