A shooting horror took place at Antioch High School in Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States.
According to information provided by the Nashville police, 17-year-old student Solomon Henderson opened fire in the school cafeteria at 11:09 a.m. local time, wounding two students before shooting himself.
Henderson died at the scene, while 16-year-old Josselin Corea Escalante, who was critically wounded, passed away after being taken to the hospital.
It was stated that the other injured student is not in life-threatening condition. This tragic event caused great panic in the area and was recorded by amateur cameras.
EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL SUSPENDED
Police Chief John Drake stated that the motive for the attack and how the attacker obtained the weapon are not yet clear, saying, "We are cooperating with federal teams and investigating the source of the weapon." The administration of Antioch High School announced that education at the school has been suspended for two days following the incident.
