'FREE PALESTINE' SLOGANS CHANTED
Trudeau was protested by a pro-Palestinian group yesterday evening while he was sitting at a restaurant called Vij's in Vancouver. The demonstrators, who called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, chanted slogans such as "Ceasefire now," "End the siege on Gaza now," "Your hands are bloody," and "Free Palestine."
TWO PEOPLE DETAINED
Following the protesters' entry into the restaurant, Trudeau apologized to other customers and left the restaurant accompanied by his security detail. It was observed that Trudeau took a photo with a group before getting into his vehicle.
It was reported that 100 police officers were sent to the area due to the protest, and 2 people were detained for resisting the police.
