Stores were looted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the U.S. yesterday around 8:00 p.m. local time. A group of at least 100 masked individuals on bicycles raided an Apple store as well as clothing retailers such as Lululemon and Foot Locker.

Scuffles broke out between the looters, who were attempting to take products from the stores and flee, and the police, with some officers seen using heavy-handed tactics.

In a statement released by the police, it was noted that at least 20 people were apprehended and taken into custody, and 2 firearms were seized at the scene.

Meanwhile, a court in Philadelphia had ruled yesterday that the police officer who killed 27-year-old Eddie Irizarry in his vehicle last month was not guilty. In a statement, the police noted that the looting incident was not connected to Irizarry's death.
