Israel bombs targets in southern Beirut

Israel continues its attacks in Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) ordered Lebanese civilians located near 3 buildings in Dahiyeh, in the south of the capital Beirut, to evacuate the buildings immediately ahead of airstrikes.
The IDF's Arabic-language spokesperson, Colonel Avichay Adraee, also published maps on his social media account calling on civilians to move at least 500 meters away from the areas.
Shortly after this call, Israeli aircraft bombed Beirut again. Violent explosions occurred at the points targeted by Israel in Beirut.

The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, launched hundreds of airstrikes on September 23 on southern Lebanese cities as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.
According to Lebanese authorities, a total of 1,411 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have been killed since September 17, when communication devices used by Hezbollah were detonated.
