Netanyahu declares 'We are at war and we will win!' - 'They will pay an unprecedented price'

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced the launch of an operation against Israel named 'Al-Aqsa Flood.' In the first phase of the operation, 5,000 rockets and mortar shells were fired. Following this development, which has dominated the global agenda, the first statement came from Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Stating that his country is in a war that it will win, Netanyahu said, "We are at war, and we will win. The enemy will pay a price they have never known before."

"WE WILL DO EVERYTHING TO PROTECT OURSELVES"

Israeli President Isaac Herzog, in a post on his X social media account, said, "Israel is going through a difficult time. We will do everything to protect ourselves."

HAMAS ALSO RELEASED A VIDEO

Mohammed Deif, Commander of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced that they had fired 5,000 rockets and mortars in the first phase of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation they launched against Israel. Deif spoke in a video where his face was not visible regarding the attack launched by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades against Israel.

"THE PROJECT OF ESTABLISHING A STATE HAS RETURNED"

Stating that "the Palestinian people are revolting again and have returned to the project of establishing a state," Deif said, "We have decided to draw a line against Israel's violations, and we have launched the Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel."

STREETS WERE ABLAZE

Explaining that they fired about 5,000 rockets and mortars toward Israel in the first phase of the Al-Aqsa Flood, Deif stated that security coordination with Israel has ended.
