The National Police of Ukraine reported in a post on Telegram that they received a report that a council member detonated a hand grenade during a session at the Keretsky Village Council building in the Mukachevo region, resulting in 1 death and 26 injuries.

According to the report in Ekonomim, the statement said: "At 11:37 today, police received a report that a council member detonated a hand grenade during a session at the Keretsky Village Council building in the Mukachevo region. According to initial findings, one person died in the explosion, and 11 people (including the person who threw the grenade) were injured."

In a subsequent announcement by the police, it was reported that the number of injured had risen to 26, with 6 of them in serious condition.
