US media reports: Israel has activated that plan for Hamas

The claim regarding Hamas tunnels, which recently came to the fore and sparked reactions, has been confirmed by the US press.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), US officials have claimed that Israel has implemented its plan to pump seawater into the “Hamas tunnels” in Gaza.
Officials stated that the process of pumping seawater into the tunnels, which is expected to last for weeks, will be carried out using 7 separate pump systems.
IT WAS STATED THAT FRESHWATER RESOURCES WOULD BE DEPLETED
It was reported that a spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Defense declined to comment on the matter, stating that operations conducted in the tunnels are classified.
On the other hand, some officials who had previously spoken to the newspaper had also stated that releasing seawater into the tunnels would contaminate freshwater resources in Gaza and damage the infrastructure.
