A visa exemption agreement has been signed between Kosovo and Israel.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, by Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Donika Gervalla-Schwarz and Israel's Minister of Interior Moshe Arbel.
The ministers did not make any statements to the press during the ceremony.
The agreement, which will allow citizens of both countries to travel visa-free, will enter into force on September 19.
An agreement to officially establish diplomatic relations between Kosovo and Israel was signed in 2021.
