According to the first unofficial results, Republican Party candidate Donald Trump has reached 101 delegates by winning the election in Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma.
Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris has reached 52 delegates by winning the election in Vermont, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, and Massachusetts.
The candidate who reaches 270, which is the absolute majority of the 538 delegates nationwide, will be the winner of the presidential election.
