AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan traveled to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, on the private plane 'TUR' to attend the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government.

Erdoğan was welcomed at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport by Dutch officials, as well as Turkey's Permanent Representative to NATO Basat Öztürk and Ambassador to The Hague Selçuk Ünal.

Following the welcome, Erdoğan departed for the city of The Hague, where the summit will be held.

Erdoğan was accompanied on his trip to the Netherlands by his wife Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Head of MIT İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç.

President Erdoğan was accompanied by his wife Emine Erdoğan at the dinner at the Royal Palace.

After King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and his wife Maxima welcomed the guests and took photos with the heads of state and government attending the summit and their spouses, the dinner began.

Erdoğan and US leader Donald Trump shook hands while smiling before the photo and then posed side by side.

President Erdoğan, Trump, Czech President Petr Pavel, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte sat at the same table.
