Warning from Iran to the US: We can target US bases with heavy weapons, UAVs, and missiles

Spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Akraminia, addressing US threats, stated, "We can target US bases with heavy weapons, UAVs, and missiles. It is not possible for the US President to take a step and end it quickly. In such a scenario, the scope of the war would expand rapidly, and the entire Middle East, from the Zionist regime to certain countries hosting US military bases, would fall within the range of our missiles and UAVs."

Spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Akraminia, made assessments regarding US policies in the region during a program he attended on state television. Akraminia stated that since the US established a presence in the Middle East in the 1970s, it has acted in line with three fundamental goals: preventing the spread of communism, ensuring the secure flow of oil to the West, and guaranteeing the security of Israel in the Middle East.

US current policies are included in the 2026 National Security Document

Akraminia noted that there have been partial changes in US policies following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the US, and stated that the US approach is clearly set out in the latest version of the National Security Strategy document published in 2026. Akraminia said, "According to the framework drawn by Trump in this document, the priority of the US is its presence on the American continent. However, the National Security Document reveals that the US maintains its commitment to defending the Zionist regime and that the security of this regime remains among its primary goals. On the other hand, since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, the US has implemented policies of sanctions, cultural attacks, and maximum pressure against Iran, and all these steps have been implemented as part of a hybrid war waged by Washington."

"We will respond immediately to the enemy's slightest mistake"

Speaking about the mechanism for responding to a potential US attack, Akraminia said, "If the enemy takes an unwise step and falls into a miscalculation again, we will respond immediately. In the 12-day war, we saw that giving the enemy time is definitely not the right approach. For this reason, instructions have been conveyed to the army that the response must be given without delay, and it has been decided that any foolishness by the enemy will be met with an instant response."

"We are facing a narcissistic and delusional person"

Akraminia stated, "It is not possible to make a clear prediction regarding the US under the Trump administration because we are facing a narcissistic and delusional person who constantly changes his rhetoric. We are absolutely prepared for a war scenario, and our duty is to ensure security and to establish and strengthen deterrence, but it is not possible to say anything definitive about what will happen."

Demand for unlimited concessions from the US

Noting that the US is attempting to extract concessions from countries it targets by applying the 'gunboat' strategy used in the 18th and 19th centuries, Ekraminia said, "This approach resembles the policy pursued by Britain during the same period. There is no limit to the concessions the US demands from us, and in this context, Washington also wants the zeroing of enrichment and the limitation of missile capacity as concessions. A military attack by the US against us is within the realm of possibility, but the US is making a serious miscalculation. Even the smallest attack will not go unanswered, and the response may not be the outcome the US desires."

"US bases are within our range"

Addressing US threats, Ekraminia said, "We can target US bases with semi-heavy weapons, UAVs, and missiles. It is not possible for the US President to take a step and end it in a short time. In such a scenario, the scope of the war would expand rapidly, and the entire Middle East, from the Zionist regime to certain countries where US military bases are located, would come within the range of our missiles and UAVs. It is out of the question for the US to say 'everything is over' shortly after an operation against us. Such an attack would turn into a fire that would engulf the entire region."

Post-war readiness level increased

Stating that the level of readiness has been significantly increased following the 12-day war between Iran and Israel, Ekraminia said this process provided important experience for Iran, adding, "We are utilizing the experience we gained in this war. For example, damaged air defense systems have been reactivated or replaced with new ones. Furthermore, new systems have been added to the inventory to strengthen our defense capacity. New steps have also been taken in the field of air forces. A high level of readiness has been achieved in our land, naval, and air forces."

"US aircraft carriers are defenseless against hypersonic missiles"

Touching upon the US Navy's presence in the Middle East, Ekraminia said, "Warships are among the important elements of modern warfare, but it cannot be said that the entirety of military power is limited to these US aircraft carrier groups, and the ships in question are defenseless against Iran's missile systems and hypersonic missiles."
