White House statement on Biden and Parkinson's
The White House has stated that President Joe Biden does not have Parkinson's disease at any level, and that he has only been examined by a neurologist three times so far as part of his annual physical examinations during his term.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre answered questions regarding the revelation that a doctor specializing in Parkinson's disease visited the White House 8 times in 8 months.
Stating that she could not speak about the content of this expert's White House visit due to "security" reasons, Jean-Pierre said, "If I need to give you some answers here, 'Is the President being treated for Parkinson's?' No. 'Is the President taking medication for Parkinson's?' No. These are things I can give you full answers on."
Stating that Biden has only been examined by a neurologist 3 times so far as part of his routine annual health check-up, Jean-Pierre left questions unanswered regarding whether Parkinson's expert Dr. Kevin Cannard examined Biden during his White House visit or what he discussed with Biden's personal physician.
Upon persistent questioning from journalists, Jean-Pierre stated, "No matter how much you push me here, no matter how angry you get at me, I am not going to talk about individuals like this who visit the White House. It is inappropriate, it is unacceptable."
According to official White House visitor logs obtained by The New York Times, Dr. Kevin Cannard from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center visited the White House 8 times between July 2023 and March 2024.
It was noted in the records that Cannard, a neurologist specializing in movement disorders, also met with Biden's personal physician, but it was stated that it was unclear whether he was there regarding Biden's condition or as part of meetings unrelated to the White House medical team.
Democratic President Joe Biden and his Republican rival Donald Trump, who are competing in the presidential election to be held in the US on November 5, faced off in the first live televised debate on CNN on the night of June 27, and 81-year-old Biden failed to deliver a performance that would alleviate concerns about his age regarding his second-term candidacy.
Following the program, calls were made for Biden to "withdraw from the presidential race" by some segments of the Democratic Party and some media outlets that support Biden, while Biden stated that he is still the best alternative against Trump and announced that he would not withdraw from the race.
