White House to US press: Apparently they don't have access to Google
The White House stated that some media outlets have been reporting false information claiming there is no evidence of fraud in federal government spending, adding, "Apparently, they do not have access to a new research tool called Google."

As US President Donald Trump’s steps to cut public spending continue to be a subject of debate, the Trump administration has targeted the US press.
In a written statement from the White House, it was noted that the US-based media outlet The New York Times had published false reports claiming there was no evidence of fraud in federal government spending, stating, "Apparently, the Times and other like-minded media outlets do not have access to a new research tool called Google."
The statement, which referenced a report published by the US Government Accountability Office (GAO) in April of last year, included the following quote from the report: "No federal agency is immune to fraud.
It is estimated that the federal government could lose between 233 billion and 521 billion dollars annually due to fraud."
The statement emphasized that Trump is "committed to being a good steward of taxpayer money and putting an end to fraudulent and wasteful spending."
