Experts state that hantavirus is primarily transmitted through rodents and that some strains can cause serious respiratory illnesses.
It is emphasized that attention should be paid to hygiene rules, especially in enclosed spaces, warehouses, and areas where there is contact with rodents.
While no global pandemic has been declared so far, it has been learned that potential cases of contact and exposure are being evaluated in these countries. It was stated that health units in Turkey are also following the developments.
