Zelenskyy announces: Attack on three oil refineries in Russia

As the war between Ukraine and Russia continues unabated, significant news of an attack has emerged from the Ukrainian front. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced in a social media post that they had carried out attacks on three oil refineries in Russia's Stavropol region. Zelenskyy also stated that a fuel facility in the same region was targeted.

Noting that the attacks were carried out as retaliation for ongoing Russian strikes, Zelenskyy emphasized that they "continue to respond in a fair and precise manner." In addition to the attacks, he stated that three tankers allegedly belonging to Russia's 'shadow fleet' in the Black Sea were also struck.

The Ukrainian leader stated, "I thank all our units that are ensuring the perception that this war must end spreads within Russia."

Videos and photos, which are claimed to be footage of the attacks, were also shared with the public by President Zelenskyy. It is being commented that such attacks by Ukraine on Russia's energy infrastructure could affect the course of the war and energy security.
