Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is preparing to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron on December 1 as part of the intense diplomatic traffic he is maintaining with Western countries regarding his nation's war with Russia.
A statement from French President Emmanuel Macron's office reported that following discussions in Geneva, Switzerland, regarding the United States' 28-point plan to end the Russia-Ukraine War, Zelenskyy and Macron will meet in the French capital, Paris, to address the terms of a fair and lasting peace plan.
ABOUT THE PREVIOUS VISIT TO FRANCE...
During his last visit to France on November 17, Zelenskyy met with Macron at the Villacoublay Air Base in Paris and held talks with representatives of the French defense industry. Following the leaders' meeting, a letter of intent regarding a 10-year defense partnership was signed between France and Ukraine, which includes the purchase of approximately 100 Rafale fighter jets, new-generation SAMP/T air defense systems, GMF 300 radars, and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms.
