Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared assessments regarding the ongoing war with Russia and the country's agenda in a video message posted on his social media account. Stating that infrastructure and energy facilities in various regions have been damaged due to attacks, Zelenskyy said that despite this, transportation networks and inter-regional connections are being kept operational. Noting that there were no missile or Shahed drone attacks targeting infrastructure throughout the day, Zelenskyy said, "This development is important and shows that when the US truly has the motivation to change the situation, the situation can change."

EMPHASIS ON CONTACT WITH WASHINGTON

Stating that they continue to work with the US on steps to end the war, Zelenskyy said, "There are issues that need to be understood; there are issues that need more work. We are ready regarding security guarantees. Our government officials and teams are actively working on Ukraine's recovery and further development."

Expressing that it is critical for the US to support dialogue by keeping communication channels with Russia open during this process, Zelenskyy said, "Thus, Russian attacks and Russian terror cannot disrupt the results that can be achieved."

MESSAGE OF ENERGY SUPPORT FROM EUROPE

Stating that he spoke with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Zelenskyy said, "I conveyed the current situation to Ursula. A new energy support package, including generators, will be provided to Ukraine by the European Union. I thank them very much for this." Stating that Europe is working on new sanctions against Russia, Zelenskyy emphasized that these steps also aim to limit Moscow's war capacity. Zelenskyy said, "We are doing our best to make diplomacy work, but it is Russia that must stop the war."

REACTION TO IRAN'S SHAHED DRONES

Touching upon the protests in Iran and subsequent developments, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine stands with the peoples fighting for freedom. Arguing that the Iranian regime is trying to spread violence to the region and the world, Zelenskyy said, "Ukraine will not forget even one of the thousands of Shahed drones that hit our cities, villages, and people."

"TERRORISTS MUST NOT WIN"

Stating that he has effectively adopted the European Union's decision to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a "terrorist organization," Zelenskyy said, "Procedures in Europe are currently ongoing. In Ukraine, we have already taken this decision and designated this entity as a terrorist organization. For us, this matter is closed." Stating that all terrorist organizations should be condemned in the same way, Zelenskyy said, "None of them should win. We thank everyone who helps protect lives. We thank everyone who stands with Ukraine."

According to information on the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) website, it was reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was included in the list of structures designated as terrorist organizations as of January 30.
