Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a statement regarding the results of the attack on Russia's border region of Kursk. Stating that the desired result of slowing Moscow's advance in eastern Ukraine has emerged, Zelenskyy said, "Frankly, it has yielded the results we expected. The enemy has been stopped in the Kharkiv region. Their advance in the Donetsk region has been slowed, but things are very difficult there as well."

Stating that Russia has approximately 40,000 troops on the Kursk front and that they have launched a counter-offensive, Zelenskyy added, "So far, we have not seen any significant success from them."

Noting that his plan, which he stated consists of only a few points, could pave a reliable path for the full implementation of the peace formula, Zelenskyy said, "And all these points depend on Biden's decision. Not Putin's."

Zelenskyy did not disclose the details of the plan.
