Democrat Party Deputy Chairman Cemal Enginyurt shared a post on X criticizing the early election remarks made by CHP leader Özgür Özel.

Enginyurt quoted a clip from the program he attended on SZC TV and added the following note:

"The nation has shown a yellow card to the AKP government. Therefore, we must shout the demands of the nation in the squares. Without waiting for an early election to happen, we must say that we are heading toward an early election."

WHAT HAD HE SAID?

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had said, "As the leader of the main opposition, I am committed to the promise I made during the election, and I am not calling for an early election. I do not interpret the results of the March 31 elections in that way. But if mistakes continue to be made tomorrow and the nation demands an early election, I will be the person who wants an early election the most."
