Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş met with truck drivers in Kahramankazan.

Stating that they have been serving everyone without discrimination for 5 years, Yavaş said, "We are spending the money of the people of Ankara for the people of Ankara. We said our biggest dream was to make the people of Ankara prosperous, and hopefully, we are working in that direction."

Mansur Yavaş met with truck drivers and logistics operators at the Ankara Domestic Transport and Logistics Center in Kahramankazan. In his speech there, Yavaş stated that he has been practicing a different kind of mayorship, saying, "For 5 years, we have worked without squandering Ankara's money, and we have not discriminated against anyone. No one can say they received different service because of the vote they cast or for any other reason. That is not in our philosophy. We are spending the money of the people of Ankara for the people of Ankara."

Noting that the municipal budget has decreased by 50 percent compared to previous years, Yavaş reminded that despite this, they provide 1,000 lira in cash assistance, 400 lira in meat assistance, and 500 lira in natural gas assistance to 27,500 retirees every month. Mansur Yavaş noted that during his term as mayor, as many intersections and asphalt paving projects were completed as in previous terms, and that his biggest dream is to make the people of Ankara prosperous.

"WE DID NOT WRITE 'MAY YOUR INTERSECTION BE BLESSED'"

Yavaş said, "We did not write 'may your intersection be blessed' on any of the projects we completed. We wrote 'Ankara Metropolitan Municipality built this for this amount of money.' We accounted for the work we did. We said our biggest dream was to make the people of Ankara prosperous, and hopefully, we are working in that direction."
