Minister Yerlikaya issues alert for all 81 provinces
Minister Yerlikaya has issued an important warning regarding the adverse weather conditions expected to affect our country on Sunday. Following Yerlikaya's warning message, all 81 provinces have been placed on high alert.
As heavy rainfall and storms affecting the country have led to loss of life in some provinces, officials are issuing consecutive statements regarding the adverse weather conditions.
Finally, Minister Yerlikaya shared a post on his social media account regarding the adverse weather conditions expected tomorrow. In his statement, Yerlikaya included the following remarks:
"On Sunday, November 26 (Tomorrow), the Meteorology and AFAD Presidency announced the adverse weather conditions expected in our country tomorrow. Meteorological warnings have been issued for a total of 64 provinces, with Orange alerts for 44 provinces and Yellow alerts for 20 provinces.
In all 81 of our provinces, our provincial AFAD centers have been placed on high alert with the relevant TAMP groups on a 24/7 basis.
We kindly ask our citizens to take the warnings into account with sensitivity.
I would like to once again importantly remind our fellow citizens living in provinces where an Orange alert has been issued to be careful and take precautions against negative situations such as roof dislodgement, falling trees and poles, the risk of poisoning from stove and chimney gases, and disruptions in transportation."
