Narin Güran's histopathology report revealed: Hemorrhage in the neck

The histopathology report prepared by the Pathology unit of the Diyarbakır Forensic Medicine Institute has been released for Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found in Eğertutmaz Creek, 1 kilometer from her home, after being searched for as a missing person for 19 days in the village of Tavşantepe in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır.

According to the report published in HaberTürk, it was stated that decomposition and liquefaction were observed in many parts of Narin's body sections sent to the Pathology department.

HEMORRHAGE IN THE NECK REGION

The results from Narin's neck region in the report drew attention. The report stated that hemorrhage was detected in the anterior neck muscle groups examined.

This finding was included in the report as follows:

“Clustered erythrocyte-like areas (hemorrhage) where cytoplasmic boundaries cannot be distinguished between severely autolytic muscle segments”

STRANGLED TO DEATH

Evaluating this report, Forensic Medicine and Public Health Specialist Prof. Dr. Sadık Toprak stated that there was hemorrhage in Narin's neck and that this indicates Narin was strangled to death.

“PROBABLY STRANGLED BY HAND”

Toprak said, “I think she was probably strangled by hand.

In such child deaths, the killer usually uses their hands. Because there is a powerless child in front of them,” he said.
