Notable court decision as the trial date for the Narin Güran murder approaches: Uncle and shepherd detail

A critical stage has been reached in the case concerning the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe Neighborhood in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır and whose lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8.

COURT ORDER FOR FORCED ATTENDANCE

The Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court has decided that uncle Erhan Güran and shepherd Ahmet A., who are significant figures in the case, must be brought to court by force ahead of the hearing scheduled for December 26.

DEMAND FOR AGGRAVATED LIFE SENTENCE

Regarding the murder, mother Yüksel Güran, uncle Salim Güran, brother Enes Güran, and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar are being tried for the crime of "intentional killing of a child in complicity."

In the 14-page opinion submitted by Prosecutor Özge Nida Polat on December 6, an aggravated life sentence was requested for all of the defendants.

It is alleged that neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar, who is stated to have moved Narin Güran's lifeless body to the stream where it was found, and the other defendants participated in the crime.

HEARING ON DECEMBER 26

A verdict is expected in this case, which is being closely followed by the public, at the hearing to be held on December 26.
