AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, in his statement regarding the tension involving Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya at the TBMM Planning and Budget Committee, described the behavior of CHP deputies toward Minister Yerlikaya as "barbarism."
At the TBMM Planning and Budget Committee, some CHP deputies attempted to block Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya's entry into the hall. During this time, a struggle was observed between Minister Yerlikaya and the CHP members. Reacting to these images, AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik said, "The attack by some CHP deputies on our Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya in Parliament is barbarism. We condemn this attack. Banditry in Parliament is unacceptable."

Çelik stated the following in his post on social media:
"The attack by some CHP deputies on our Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya in Parliament is barbarism. We condemn this attack. Banditry in Parliament is unacceptable. No one can silence our Ministers and Deputies. We have extensive experience in political struggle against barbarism. We will wage this struggle in the clearest way possible. Barbarism and banditry will receive the political and legal responses they deserve on every platform. The CHP must do what is necessary in the face of this attack. Those who do not do what is necessary regarding this barbarism will find that their talk of democracy and normalization will be treated as lies."
