One soldier martyred in the Claw Operation region

The statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) regarding the matter included the following expressions:

''In the Claw Operation Region, on October 10, 2023, Infantry Specialist Sergeant Mustafa Çakmak, who was severely wounded as a result of the explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device previously planted by members of the separatist terrorist organization, was immediately transferred to the hospital and treatment was initiated. However, despite all interventions, he could not be saved and has been martyred.

In this incident, which has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, we wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr, and offer our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation.''

CONDOLENCES FROM MINISTER GÜLER

Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, in the condolence message he published for the martyr, stated: "Our heroic comrade-in-arms was martyred on October 10, 2023. On my own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Ministry of National Defense, I wish God's mercy upon our heroic martyr; and offer my condolences and patience to his grieving family and our noble nation."
