Statement on Kartalkaya from Minister Tunç! 'Those with negligence will be held accountable'
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that the investigation into the fire disaster in Kartalkaya is being conducted meticulously and that those found to have been negligent will be held accountable before the judiciary.
The investigation into the fire disaster that occurred in Kartalkaya is ongoing. Within the scope of the investigation, 11 suspects are currently in custody. As part of the ongoing investigation, Bolu Deputy Mayor Sedat Gülener and Acting Fire Chief Kenan Coşkun were the latest to be detained. The owner of the hotel is also among those taken into custody.

A new statement regarding the ongoing investigation has come from Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç. Speaking at the Judicial Reform Strategy Promotion Meeting held at the Beştepe People's Congress and Culture Center, Minister Tunç stated that the investigation is being carried out with great meticulousness.
Minister Tunç said, "Let no one have any doubt that those who have negligence and fault will be held accountable before the judiciary."
