Sweden welcomes President Erdoğan's signing of Sweden's NATO Accession Protocol
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson expressed his satisfaction with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's signing of Sweden's NATO Accession Protocol.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated in a post on his social media account, "We welcome President Erdoğan's signing of Sweden's NATO Accession Protocol and its submission to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. Now the parliamentary procedures will begin. We look forward to becoming a member of NATO."
Erdoğan signed Sweden's NATO Accession Protocol today.
In a post shared on the social media account of the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, it was stated, "The Protocol on Sweden's Accession to NATO was signed by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, on October 23, 2023, and referred to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye."
