DEM, AKP, and MHP fall silent following the cancellation of İmamoğlu's diploma

Turkey has been shaken by the decision to cancel the diploma of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Legal experts and politicians have reacted to the situation, stating that the decision in question constitutes a major injustice. Many figures have argued that preventing İmamoğlu from participating in presidential elections is a political decision and represents a violation of democratic rights.

Reactions to the cancellation of İmamoğlu's diploma have been voiced intensely, particularly from the opposition front. However, a notable point is that no statement has been made regarding this issue by the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), the Justice and Development Party (AKP), or the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM).

Recently, there have been various speculations that the MHP, DEM, and AKP have reached an agreement on constitutional amendments.

The silence of these parties regarding the intervention into İmamoğlu's right to candidacy has raised questions about potential political developments in the near future.
