AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik: 'Decisions to recognize Palestine must continue'

AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made statements regarding his party's ongoing camp in Kızılcahamam.

Çelik's statements are as follows:

"Our first topic was our assessments regarding the massacres taking place in Gaza. Our policy will continue from here on out. A special session was held. In this session, our organization head and our election affairs head gave presentations. Following this, there will be an assessment by our minister regarding education. Similarly, in one session, presentations will be made by our ministers of economy, energy, and agriculture. These policies will be consulted upon.

Tomorrow morning, we will begin at 09:00 with the justice, security, and foreign policy session. Our ministers will give presentations. Later, there will be a question-and-answer meeting with the participation of all our delegations, chaired by our President. This is the most comprehensive question-and-answer and consultation meeting. Afterwards, we will take a break, and then there will be a closing speech based on our President's assessment of the discussions during the process and his messages.

While following this process, our primary agenda is the policy of massacre in Gaza. If we follow the process from the beginning, the principles and values of our President are also being put forward by the International Court of Justice. The conscience of the world is reacting to this. Significant progress is being made regarding the recognition of Palestine. We express that this must continue.

Austerity measures are valid in every field. These measures are also being followed at this camp. Politics is a matter of discussing the country's issues."
