CHP chairmanship candidate Özgür Özel: 'The title deed to the family home is neither with Özgür Özel nor with Kemal Bey. By God, it wasn't with Ecevit either'

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairmanship Candidate Özgür Özel visited the Uşak CHP Provincial Organization as part of his provincial tours. Speaking from atop a minibus, Özel said, "Having been a son of yours who has always been hand-in-hand, arm-in-arm, and heart-to-heart with you, we have set out on a path; if you give us the way, we are heading to power.”

"THE TITLE DEED IS WITH ATATÜRK"

Stating that they aim to win the municipality in Uşak and increase the number of deputies to 3, Özel described the CHP as a "family home" and made the following remarks:

"In the 100th year of the Republic, starting from November 4, we are opening the doors of the family home wide, inviting everyone whose peace has been disturbed, whose order has been disrupted, or who has complaints to the family home. In the 100th year of the Republic, the door of the family home will be opened wide to everyone from workers to farmers, from civil servants to retirees, from hopeless youth to housewives, to everyone who is uncomfortable with this current situation. So, the door is here, but where is the title deed to this family home, who is it registered to? By God, don't look at our competition, don't look at our congress, don't look at us. The title deed to the family home is neither with Özgür Özel nor with Kemal Bey. By God, it wasn't with Ecevit either, nor with İnönü. The title deed to what you call the family home is registered to one person. And that is Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk."
