Beşiktaş brings new signing Rafa Silva to Istanbul
Portuguese footballer Rafa Silva, with whom Beşiktaş is in transfer negotiations, has arrived in Istanbul.
Beşiktaş has secured the services of 31-year-old Portuguese footballer Rafa Silva. The 31-year-old player, who arrived at Atatürk Airport on a private jet from Portugal, was welcomed by a large number of fans.
Emerging from the airport wearing a Beşiktaş jersey, Rafa Silva made statements to the press alongside Feyyaz Uçar and Hüseyin Yücel.
In his statement, Silva said, "It is very important for me to be here. I would like to thank our vice president very much for trusting me. I am here to win victories together with our fans."
Beşiktaş Club Board Member Feyyaz Uçar emphasized that they brought one of Portugal's star names, Rafa Silva, to Istanbul after long negotiations, while Beşiktaş Club Second President Hüseyin Yücel pointed out that transfers will continue, saying, "Best of luck. These are our worst days; we will see better days."
