Statement from Israeli Chief of General Staff Halevi regarding their stance on Iran's attacks

Israeli Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi made statements regarding the attack at the Nevatim Airbase, which was targeted during the Iranian strike.

Halevi stated that a response would be given to Iran's attack, saying, "Iran wanted to damage the strategic capabilities of the State of Israel. This is something that has never happened before."

Noting that they carried out the "Iron Shield" operation to neutralize the missiles and UAVs launched by Iran, Halevi emphasized that they were prepared for the attack thanks to this operation.

Halevi said, "We saw what was being organized last Monday, and we believe that the State of Israel is very strong and knows how to deal with this on its own, but when it comes to such a large number and such a distant threat, we are always happy to have the US by our side."

Stating that they are evaluating how to respond to Iran, Halevi said, "We will respond to the launch of so many missiles and UAVs into the territory of the State of Israel."

On the other hand, the Nevatim Airbase was hit in the attack organized by Iran, and the Israeli army had reported that minor damage occurred at the base.
