100th Anniversary of the Turkish-Hungarian Treaty of Friendship: Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra at İş Sanat
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Turkish-Hungarian Treaty of Friendship signed in 1923, İş Sanat will host a special event in April. The Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra, formed by distinguished musicians from the Franz Liszt Academy, and Hungarian-born violinist Gwendolyn Masin will perform at the İş Towers Hall on Wednesday, April 17, at 20:30.

Known for their original and impressive performances, the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra possesses a wide repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary periods.
Since its founding in 2010, the ensemble has delivered successful performances on the international stage, winning 1st prize in the "String Orchestra with Outstanding Achievement" category at the 5th Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival held at the Wiener Musikverein in Vienna in 2011.
The orchestra, which frequently performs at prestigious venues such as the Liszt Academy, the Marble Hall of the Musikverein, the Kodály Center, and Teatro Verdi, continues its musical collaborations with world-renowned conductors and soloists, as well as internationally acclaimed Hungarian soloists like Kristóf Baráti, György Déri, and Zoltán Fejérvári.
ATTRACTING ATTENTION WITH HER EDUCATOR AND COMPOSER IDENTITY
Described by critics as an "exciting artist who can courageously enter the unknown regions of music," violinist Gwendolyn Masin draws attention not only as an extraordinary musician but also for her identity as an educator and composer.
Having won numerous awards with her published violin teaching method "Michaela’s Music House, The Magic of the Violin," the artist also published the musical works she produced using this method in the same book. Masin, who has also engaged in chamber music studies with artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Kim Kashkashian, Adrian Brendel, and István Várdai, has been serving as the artistic director of the GAIA Music Festival, which she founded in Switzerland, since 2009.
The concert featuring the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra and Gwendolyn Masin, with a repertoire including works by Camille Saint-Saëns, Franz Liszt, Maurice Ravel, and Béla Bartók, will be presented to the audience at the İş Towers Hall on Wednesday, April 17, at 20:30.
