31st Izmir European Jazz Festival to begin on March 7
Organized by the Izmir Foundation for Culture, Arts and Education (İKSEV), the 31st Izmir European Jazz Festival will take place between March 7 and 20.

According to the statement made by İKSEV, the festival will be organized in cooperation with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the Goethe-Institut Izmir, the Consulate of Italy in Izmir, the Honorary Consulate of Switzerland in Izmir, and the French Cultural Center.
The festival will begin on March 7 at the Ahmet Adnan Saygun Arts Center (AASSM) Grand Hall with an "Ella Fitzgerald Night" event. Fitzgerald's immortal songs will be interpreted by prominent jazz performer Ayşegül Yeşilnil.
MEZZA TO TAKE THE STAGE
World-renowned jazz pianist Vittorio Mezza will give a concert at the AASSM Small Hall on March 11.
Jazz enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch one of Switzerland's leading jazz pianists, Moncef Genoud, as well as Lynn Adib, known for her work blending Arabic music with jazz, and bass virtuoso Marc Buronfosse.
The Jazz Poster Competition, held for the 21st time as part of the festival, was won by Berke Özaşık, a student at the Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Design.
It was also decided to exhibit the works of 11 participants under the age of 14 who submitted entries to the poster competition.
