38 plays to be free on World Theatre Day
The General Directorate of State Theatres will stage 38 plays for free on March 27 in celebration of World Theatre Day.

According to a written statement by the General Directorate of State Theatres, art lovers will be able to watch 38 free performances across 36 stages in 25 regions on World Theatre Day.
Free tickets can be obtained from State Theatre box offices and relevant directorates starting tomorrow.
Within this scope, the Ankara State Theatre will present "Cimri" (The Miser) at the Etimesgut CKM, "Devlet Ana" (Mother State) at the Cüneyt Gökçer Stage, "Son Gece Mahallesi" (The Last Night Neighborhood) at the Şinasi Stage, "Kadınlar, Filler ve Saireler" (Women, Elephants and Others) at the Küçük Tiyatro, "Siyahlı Kadın" (The Woman in Black) at the Akün Stage, "Esaretin Bedeli" (The Shawshank Redemption) at the İrfan Şahinbaş Workshop Stage, "Gişe" (The Box Office) at the Chamber Theatre, and "Hayal Dükkanı" (The Dream Shop) at the Pursaklar DT Stage.
The Istanbul State Theatre will bring "Bella Figura" to the Mecidiyeköy Grand Stage, "Tek Başıma" (All Alone) to the Mecidiyeköy Studio Stage, "Sonbahara Son Güller" (Last Roses of Autumn) to the Üsküdar Tekel Stage, and "Tamamen Doluyuz" (Fully Committed) to the Üsküdar Studio Stage.
The Izmir State Theatre's plays, "Hamlet" will be performed at the Karşıyaka Ragıp Haykır Stage, "Bir Düş Gibi" (Like a Dream) at the Konak Stage, and "Majestik" (Majestic) at the Bornova Culture Center Bozkurt Kuruç Stage.
The Bursa State Theatre will present "Lobotomobilin Üç Seferi" (The Three Expeditions of the Lobotomobile) at the Ahmet Vefik Paşa Stage, and "Şair, Şiir, Şuur" (Poet, Poetry, Consciousness) at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Feraizcizade Chamber Theatre.
The Adana State Theatre will greet the audience with "Ortak Cinayetin Suç Duyurusu" (Criminal Complaint of a Joint Murder) at the 01 Burda PGM Stage, while the Trabzon State Theatre will perform "Medyum" (The Medium) and "Sihirli Lamba" (The Magic Lamp) at the Atapark Haluk Ongan Stage.
The Diyarbakır State Theatre will present "Ekşi Tom" (Sour Tom) at the Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı Culture Center Orhan Asena Stage, "Sayı Dedektifleri" (Number Detectives) at the Kayapınar Culture Center, and "Çarpışma" (The Collision) at the Chamber Theatre Stage.
The Antalya State Theatre will present the play "Havada Yüzmek" (Swimming in the Air) at the Haşim İşcan Culture Center DT Stage Small Hall, the Erzurum State Theatre will present "Yeşilçam" at the Erzurum DT Stage, the Sivas State Theatre will present "Donör" (The Donor) at the Atatürk Culture Center Stage, and the Van State Theatre will present "Külhanbeyi Operası" (The Opera of the Street Toughs) at the Van Culture Center Stage.
The Kayseri State Theatre will stage "Kral Üşümesi" (The King's Chill) at the Kayseri State Theatre Stage, the Gaziantep State Theatre will stage "Geçmişten Gelen Kadın" (The Woman from the Past) at the Şehit Kamil Stage, the Kahramanmaraş State Theatre will stage "Kadınlar İstasyonu" (Women's Station) at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek State Theatre Stage, and the Elazığ State Theatre will stage "Gizli Bahçe'nin Bezelyesi" (The Pea of the Secret Garden) and "Başıboş" (Stray) at the Nurettin Ardıçoğlu Culture Center DT Stage for free.
The Samsun State Theatre's play "Gonzago'nun Öldürülmesi" (The Murder of Gonzago) will be available at the Samsun DT Stage, and the Çorum State Theatre's play "Nihayet Bitti" (Finally Over) will be available at the Çorum DT Stage.
The Denizli State Theatre will present "Bimarhane" (The Asylum) at the Hasan Kasapoğlu Culture Center DT Stage, the Ordu State Theatre will present "Hiç Kimse" (Nobody) at the Ordu DT Stage, and the Edirne State Theatre will present "Çöp Canavarı" (The Trash Monster) at the Edirne DT Stage, and "Hiç Kimsenin Öyküsü" (The Story of Nobody) at the Damat İbrahim Paşa Hall.
