Germany premiere of the film 'Zaferin Rengi' held

The Germany premiere of the film 'Zaferin Rengi' (The Color of Victory), which was released on February 16, was held the other evening at the Schauburg Filmpalast in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Special guests attended the premiere, which was hosted by the Fenerbahçe SK Gelsenkirchen Association.

Emotional moments were experienced at the gala held at the Schauburg Filmpalast, which was attended by the film's actors Birce Akalay, Gülper Özdemir, and Yılmaz Adam Bayraktar, as well as the film's producer and director Abdullah Oğuz.

The special screening, attended by Fenerbahçe SK President Ali Y. Koç, Secretary General Burak Çağlan Kızılhan, Board Members Simla Türker Bayazıt and Selahattin Baki, İlker Dinçay from Fenerbahçe SK, and Gelsenkirchen FSK Association President Ercüment Salman, drew significant interest from cinema lovers in Germany.

The film crew, who traveled to Ankara immediately after the gala at the Atatürk Cultural Center, had also visited Anıtkabir.

THE SUBJECT OF ZAFERİN RENGİ

Zaferin Rengi is based on true events that took place between 1918 and 1923. It tells the story of the national struggle initiated in Anatolia under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, its growth in occupied Istanbul, and the resistance of the Turkish people who found morale and unity through football victories. The film concludes with the Harrington Cup, one of the most significant football achievements that left its mark on Turkish sports history.

Kubilay Aka portrays the film's main protagonist, Galip Bey, a founding member and legendary captain of Fenerbahçe, while we see Gülper Özdemir in the role of Peyker.

Nejat İşler (Sabri Toprak), Timuçin Esen (Topkapılı Cambaz), Yiğit Özşener (Mustafa Kemal Pasha), Gonca Vuslateri (Vera), Yılmaz Bayraktar (Captain Bennett), and Birce Akalay (Halide Edib Adıvar) also bring to life the symbolic politicians, intellectuals, military figures, and heroic athletes of Turkish football history from that era.
