Perfect Days, the acclaimed film by one of cinema history's great masters Wim Wenders, stars Kôji Yakusho, who was awarded Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival.
The director, who began his film career in the late 1960s as part of the 'New German Cinema' movement, has left his mark on countless projects such as 'Paris, Texas', 'Wings of Desire' and 'Pina'.
Wim Wenders' latest film, Perfect Days, was nominated for an Oscar in the 'Best International Feature Film' category at the 96th Academy Awards.
The film, which brought the Best Actor award to lead actor Kôji Yakusho at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival where it premiered, traces a quiet search for happiness, exploring the beauties of our existence through the small miracles of daily life, such as music cassettes, sunlight filtering through trees, and books.
