March events at the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum
The BlackBox stage, located on the ground floor of the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum, hosts deep conversations ranging from poetry to archaeology and literature to painting.

The stage's March program includes the talks: “Gül İrepoğlu Narrates: Through the Eyes of Women, From the Brushes of Women” on Saturday, March 9; “Poetry in the Museum with Onur Caymaz’s Narration | Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu” on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23; and “Civilization Was Born in Anatolia with Fahri Işık” on Tuesday, March 26.
The founding curator of the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Museum, Prof. Dr. Gül İrepoğlu, will talk about our female artists who have written their names in golden letters in Turkish art history, in honor of March 8, International Women's Day.
The contributions of the female painters featured in the museum to Turkish art, through their perspectives on art and the works they have produced, will be discussed.
BRINGING BEDRİ RAHMİ EYÜBOĞLU'S POEMS TO THE MUSEUM
Poet and writer Onur Caymaz will bring the poems of Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, who produced countless works in both literature and painting for Turkish art—from the Serçe Magazine he wrote in his middle school years to his professorship in the academy—to the museum.
In the 'Civilization Was Born in Anatolia' event with Prof. Dr. Fahri Işık, the founding excavation head of the Patara Ancient City, elements such as culture, belief, and the city will be discussed in light of Anatolia's ancient archaeological presence, and the Hellenistic perspective in the science of archaeology will be questioned.
