Türkiye İş Bankası has announced that it will increase its paid-in capital by 15 billion lira, raising it to its registered capital ceiling of 25 billion lira.

In a statement made by Türkiye İş Bankası AŞ to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was reported that the bank will increase its paid-in capital of 10 billion lira by 15 billion, raising it to its registered capital ceiling of 25 billion lira.
The statement noted that the entire increase will be covered by extraordinary reserves and issued to shareholders as bonus registered shares. It was also decided to authorize the general directorate to apply to the relevant authorities for the amendment of Article 5 of the articles of association, which regulates capital, and for the capital increase, as well as to carry out the capital increase procedures.
