Oedipus Rex meets theater audiences
Oedipus Rex, a production by the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, one of Serbia's prominent theaters, met with Istanbul audiences at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage on January 22 and 23.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) City Theatres hosted Serbia's Yugoslav Drama Theatre at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage as part of its international collaborations aimed at bringing significant world theater productions to its audience.
The play 'Oedipus Rex', which won the audience's acclaim, received a standing ovation.
Written by Sophocles and directed by Vito Taufer, the play features Milan Maric, Nataša Ninkovic, Srdan Timarov, Bojan Dimitrijevic, Aleksandar Durica, Miloš Samolov, Nebojša Ljubišic, Zoran Cvijanovic, Joakim Tasic, Marko Radojevic, Milan Bobic, Luka Antonijevic, Luka Sevic and Veljko Stevanovic.
