Singer Neşe Can laid to rest

Singer Neşe Can has passed away in İzmir at the age of 88.

A funeral ceremony was held at noon at the İskele Yahşibey Mosque in the Urla district for Can, who passed away at her home in the Narlıdere district due to age-related health issues.

The artist's sisters, nieces, nephews, and relatives attended the funeral. Following the prayer, Can was laid to rest at the Kuşçular Cemetery.

Can, who began her musical journey at the İzmit Music Society, later passed the exams for TRT Ankara Radio and began working there.

Can had won the admiration of music lovers with many of the songs she performed.
