Ayşe Ateş, the wife of former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş, directed questions to MHP Deputy Chairman in charge of Legal Affairs Feti Yıldız regarding the Sinan Ateş murder case.

In a statement made on her social media account, Ayşe Ateş said, "Given that he is a legal expert, we would like to obtain the legal opinions of MHP Deputy Chairman in charge of Legal Affairs Feti Yıldız regarding the correspondence contained in the so-called indictment—which his party is pressuring Parliament to accept as soon as possible—and which has been confirmed as factual by expert reports." she said.

In her post, Ayşe Ateş used the following expressions: "Calling the statements given to the press based on the evidence in this so-called indictment, which you are openly calling on and pressuring Parliament to accept, an imputation, accusation, and slander." she stated.

Sinan Ateş's wife, Ayşe Ateş, directed the following questions to MHP's Feti Yıldız:

1-) Is it against the law for the detained Tolgahan Demirbaş to obtain personal data belonging to me, my husband Sinan Ateş, and his close friends through unlawful means via Ülkü Ocakları Deputy Chairmen, Headquarters Administrators, and law enforcement officers, and then send it to Ülkü Ocakları President Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım, who requested it from him?

2-) Does it constitute a criminal element for Ülkü Ocakları President Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım to order Tolgahan Demirbaş to carry out the attack on former Ülkü Ocakları President Suat Başaran at Ankara Esenboğa Airport?

3-) Does the order given by Ömer Şanlı, who was the Deputy Chairman in charge of Organizations at the time and currently serves as the Ankara Ülkü Ocakları President, to attack Niğde IYI Party Deputy Chairman Mümin İnan at a rest stop in Pozantı on 01/06/2022, have a criminal penalty in law books?

4-) Based on your extensive legal knowledge, what would you like to say about whether this correspondence and the violent acts that occurred following this correspondence constitute a criminal element? If it does constitute a criminal element, what is the penal sanction?"
