Although the trial process regarding the murder of former Idealist Hearths President Sinan Ateş, who was killed in an armed attack in Ankara on December 30, 2022, has begun, the deficiencies in the indictment continue to be debated.

In this context, Sinan Ateş’s wife Ayşe Ateş had claimed that “a corporate attack was being discussed” and stated, “When you look at the 17 people under investigation, an impression is formed as if the alleged corporate attack was carried out from within. Sometimes one should not look for the enemy far away. First and foremost, Ahmet Yiğit Yıldırım and Olcay Kılavuz, Ömer Şanlı, Burak Kılıç, Gürsel Horat and Suat Yılmazzobu... These names, who were looking for a hitman, are not in the first indictment.”

Ayşe Ateş had also expressed that they were waiting for the preparation of a supplementary indictment regarding the 17 people under investigation.

According to the report by Aytunç Ürkmez from Cumhuriyet; it is alleged that this indictment has been prepared by the prosecutor's office. Information also suggests that the indictment will be submitted to the 32nd High Criminal Court before July 1, the date of the first hearing of the case.
