9 people arrested in connection with the murder of Çorluspor manager Ersin Aka

Out of 13 suspects detained in connection with the armed attack that resulted in the death of Ersin Aka, who managed the Çorluspor 1947 football team, 9 have been arrested and sent to prison.

A new development has occurred in the investigation into the murder of Ersin Aka, the manager of the Çorluspor 1947 football team. Out of 13 suspects detained, 9 have been arrested and sent to prison. 

It was stated that the shooter M.P. (16), the driver of the vehicle after the murder I.T.İ., and the Syrian national O.A., who was in the vehicle, were caught while attempting to flee to Bulgaria. The 13 suspects, whose interrogations were completed at the Tekirdağ Police Department, were referred to the courthouse in Çorlu yesterday. Among the suspects brought before the Criminal Court of Peace, the shooter M.P., the Syrian national O.A. (who is under 18), as well as I.T.İ., K.Z., Ö.Y., F.Y., D.Y., S.K., and M.K. were arrested, while 4 people were released under judicial control conditions.

THEY FOLLOWED HIM FOR 10 DAYS

Within the scope of the work carried out by the Tekirdağ Provincial Police Department and the Çorlu District Police Department Public Security Bureau, it was determined that the suspects had been tracking Ersin Aka starting 10 days before the murder. 

Ersin Aka was subjected to an armed attack while walking on Adnan Kahveci Street in the Muhittin neighborhood last Friday and lost his life. 

In the attack, which was also captured on security cameras, the suspect approached from behind, fired a handgun at Ersin Aka, who was walking with another person, and fled. While Aka collapsed to the ground covered in blood, the attacker escaped by getting into a vehicle that was waiting for him 200 meters away.
