Ali Yerlikaya: 'We are in a total struggle against forest fires'

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya attended the forest fire fighting preparedness meeting.

Yerlikaya shared a post on X regarding the meeting, which was also attended by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı and the governors of 23 provinces.

Ali Yerlikaya included the following statements in his post:

"We have taken important steps to increase our capacity to fight forest fires, and we continue to do so. Under the leadership of our President, we are in a total struggle, ranging from the number of air and land vehicles to increasing the number of personnel, and involving everything from public institutions and organizations to civil society structures."

We held our ‘2024 Forest Fire Fighting Preparedness Meeting’ hosted by our Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Mr. @ibrahimyumakli, with the participation of our 23 provincial governors.
