Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced: 'All 12 suspects who attacked our police officers were captured today'
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a statement regarding the incidents that occurred at Saraçhane Square on May 1st. Yerlikaya stated, 'All 12 suspects who gathered at Saraçhane Square to reach Taksim Square in Istanbul on May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day, and who carried out stone and stick attacks and physical assaults against our police officers, were captured today.'
On May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day, demonstrators wanted to reach Taksim Square, and incidents broke out after the police did not grant permission.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a statement on his social media account X regarding those captured in the incidents.
Yerlikaya said the following:

All 12 suspects who gathered at SARAÇHANE Square to reach Taksim Square in Istanbul on May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day, and who carried out stone and stick attacks and physical assaults against our police officers, were captured today.
Thus, the number of those who attacked our police officers in Saraçhane and were captured has reached 42.
Of the 30 suspects in the first group previously captured, 27 were arrested, and judicial control measures were imposed on 3.''
