Appointment decisions made by the President published in the Official Gazette
In the appointment decisions published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the term of office of Naval Forces Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu was extended by one year. Additionally, significant appointments and dismissals were carried out in various ministries and public institutions.

The appointment decisions published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have been published in the Official Gazette. Within this scope, the Supreme Military Council (YAŞ) appointment and promotion decisions were also included.
According to the decisions, the term of office of Naval Forces Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, which was set to expire this year, has been extended by one year. In accordance with articles 38, 47, 49, and 54 of the Turkish Armed Forces Personnel Law and article 9 of the Presidential Decree No. 3 on Appointment Procedures for Senior Public Administrators and Public Institutions and Organizations, 16 generals, 7 admirals, and 77 colonels affiliated with the Land, Naval, and Air Forces Commands have been promoted to the next rank, effective as of August 30, 2024.
Furthermore, Ayberk Özerş was appointed to the vacant position of Head of Support Services Department at the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and Ahmet Erdaş was appointed to the vacant position of Labor Inspector at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Ibrahim Yazar, Deputy General Manager of Cinema at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was dismissed from his post. At the General Directorate of Forestry, Deputy General Managers Zekeriya Nane and Recep Ateş, as well as Antalya Regional Director of Forestry Vedat Dikici, were also dismissed.
