Bilal Erdoğan lashes out at Fatih Altaylı: 'This immoral man...'

World Ethnosport Confederation President Bilal Erdoğan attended the "Human Rights Training Camp" organized by the AKP Headquarters Human Rights Presidency in the Kartepe district of Kocaeli and chatted with young people.

In his speech, Erdoğan, who leveled harsh criticisms at journalist Fatih Altaylı, drew attention to Altaylı's attitude toward the military in the past.

Bilal Erdoğan used the following expressions in his statements regarding Fatih Altaylı:

"This immoral man called Fatih Altaylı used to lick the boots of the soldiers. When the soldiers said 'Stand up,' he would stand up; when they said 'Lie down,' he would lie down. Now, he lies down when someone else says 'Lie down' and stands up when they say 'Stand up,' yet he goes around as a journalist and his videos are watched. Let them tell us about the 90s. Let them say, 'We were terrified of the soldiers.' Let them say, 'We were slaves, dogs of the tutelage.' Go on, let them say it."

In his speech, Erdoğan stated that Turkey has undergone a great transformation since the past and has now become a strong country that makes its own decisions.

Expressing that Turkey is freer today than it has ever been, Erdoğan claimed that names like Altaylı were slaves to military tutelage in the past.

'TURKEY IS FREER THAN EVER'

Bilal Erdoğan said that Turkey has left the periods of tutelage behind and has become an ambitious country on the world stage by standing on its own two feet.

Erdoğan used the following expressions:

"Turkey is freer than ever, my friends. Turkey is stronger than ever, a country that makes its own decisions. It is a country with global aspirations."

LASHED OUT AT FATIH ALTAYLI

Erdoğan also stated that it is disturbing to him that journalist Fatih Altaylı still appears on television.

Saying that the insults Altaylı made in the past toward women wearing headscarves have not been forgotten, Erdoğan added:

"This is a wound inside me. To see that these men are still being watched, a man who, without shame or embarrassment, attributed the slur 'prostitute' to our headscarved girls. These liberals who pass as very civilized in Turkey supported Tayyip Erdoğan until the rights of Muslims in Turkey were at stake. As soon as the issue of headscarves or Imam Hatip schools came up, they parted ways."

In his speech, Erdoğan argued that the media and opposition in Turkey are pumping distrust into society and creating unrest in the country by creating an unreal perception. He also claimed that content on social media and television is dynamiting the moral foundations of society.

'EYT WAS A GREAT DISASTER'

Touching upon the Retirement Age Victims (EYT) regulation in his speech, Erdoğan stated that this regulation narrowed employment areas for young people. Expressing that EYT was a great disaster, Erdoğan argued that young people were deceived on this issue.
