BREAKING NEWS... Journalist Furkan Karabay arrested by court

Journalist Furkan Karabay was detained this morning.

According to journalist Barış Pehlivan, the accusations directed at Karabay include 'targeting individuals involved in the fight against terrorism' and 'insulting the President.' The grounds for these accusations were cited as a video Karabay published on YouTube and his social media posts.

ARRESTED

Following his statement at the prosecutor's office, Karabay was referred to court with a request for his arrest.

Karabay, who did not present a defense at the criminal judgeship of peace, stated the following:

'This is my third time here. I was arrested and sent to prison both previous times; I will be arrested again, I don't care. I consider it an indignity to present a defense in courts that arrest 20-year-old children.'

Following the evaluation, the court decided to arrest Karabay.
